For all those of you like me who use the NX Client software from Nomachine.com and are frustrated that the Alt-Tab keys are not trapped by the client, this is your solution. I made this small program that traps the keys and forwards them to the client. The utility conveniently sits in the System tray. Its 50KB in size and uses about 2.5 MB of RAM and does not affect system performance. It does not have any dependency on any other software and can run on its own.
Terms & Conditions : The software is free to use. Please do not distribute it on your own but link to this site. The software is provided as is without any implied or explicit warranties. Use at your own risk.

Beta Version 2: (Tested and works on WinXP, other OS not tested) Download: http://ssrini.netfirms.com/nxutility_2_beta.zip Help: Read the readme.txt and the comments in the nxutility.ini file Installation : Just copy the nxutility.exe and nxutility.ini to any directory and run it. Tip for Full Screen mode : The NX Client is quirky when it comes to handling Alt-Tab in full screen mode. The NXUtility manages this by sending a key code Alt+/ (alt and forward slash) whenever the you press Alt-Tab. This ensures that the window switching works even when you press Alt-Tab in full screen mode. To get this to work, all you need to do is to open the Keyboard shortcuts settings after logging into Linux and add Alt+/ as an alternate shortcut to switch windows (since these are your desktop settings, you can change them without root access)
